I recently did a DIY Closet Makeover and needed some decor to bring the look together. The first place I looked was the Salvation Army thrift store. I can always find great thrift decor there and it is definitely budget friendly.

Bringing together the DIY Closet Makeover
The closet system worked wonderfully, but it still needed a few little touches. I added a mirror and small rug which fit perfectly. Then I went to my local Salvation Army thrift store and found some thrift decor pieces to add a more personal touch.

How To Thrift Decor for a Closet Makeover from the Salvation Army thrift store:
- Jewerly Display – Works great on a shelf and organizes everything! No more tangled necklaces.
- Jewelry Box – To hold all of the small items so they don’t get lost.
- Ring Box – I love vintage ring boxes, this little blue one to hold my special pieces.
- Faux Plants – A great way to add greenery without worrying about the lack of sunlight.

The biggest thing I thrifted for this closet makeover? THE CLOTHES. When we finished putting the closet together, I hung up the last piece, stepped back and almost cried. This closet is eighty percent thrifted and I am so proud of everything I have found. The clothes in this closet make me feel amazing. They are also high quality and will last me for many years. Finding deals at my local Salvation Army thrift store is what makes this third (and hopefully final) DIY Closet Makeover the best.
