The last days of summer are upon us and we need to squeeze every last bit of sunshine out of it! End of summer is a great time to shop summer sales. Were there any items you wanted this summer but they were out of your budget? Start looking now for next summer. I always try to make a list of items I didn’t find or were not within my budget for the season.

This summer I really wanted to find high waisted shorts. The high waist are flattering for me and always give a nice silhouette. I was looking for a short that had a tie or a ruffle and I was so happy to find these striped shorts at 8th & Main in Vancouver. These shorts were on sale for only $9.99! A great last days of summer deal.

If you’re looking for some high waisted short, check out the deals I found online. Most of the shorts above are on sale for around $30 and some of them are over $100 regular price. End of summer sales are a great opportunity to buy a higher quality item at a fraction of the price.

This outfit is perfect for a girls brunch or a date or running errands on the weekend. It definitely works as a day to night outfit and is really comfortable. The ruffle shirt went really well with the striped shorts and the vintage purse added a nice touch. Vintage purses is one of my favorite items to thrift shop for. Majority of the time the purses are real leather, barely used and unique.

A summer outfit for $30! Now that is a great summer deal. Plus each of these items work great with other pieces. The shorts would be good for a day on the beach as a coverup. An off the shoulder shirt would pair nicely with a fitted skirt. And the vintage purse works with any outfit and can easily be used as a crossbody purse. I’ve had all of these items on repeat and can’t wait for these last days of summer.
