When summer comes the most exciting part to me is getting out all of my stripes! I wear a few throughout the year, but summer is where stripes really shine. They can be a simple tee, a fun dress or a skirt, all great options for summer time. I recently thrifted this striped tee and thought it would be great for spring. I liked how lose and flowy it was but that I could still do a little front tuck.

Spring is when I start to change up my wardrobe a little, remember the blog transitioning your wardrobe from winter to spring. Now is the time when I really start to trade in my winter wardrobe for lighter and brighter clothing. I also use pieces from my fall wardrobe but make sure to lighten it up.

Remember this green jacket I loved using to layer in the fall, but for spring I can layer a lighter cardigan and a t-shirt. The jacket translates well for spring since it is lightweight. Although it would be nice to have several jackets for each season, it’s probably not realistic financially or storage wise. Owning wardrobe pieces that can be used in multiple seasons but still be stylish is key.
