I love date nights. It’s a great time to connect but even more exciting is dressing up for date night. Mark and I always put in the extra effort whether we are going for a glass of wine or a 5 course dinner. Dressing up together makes the night special. When we are getting ready we try to be the best dressed. Lol. Basically who can look the most stylish. Sometimes Mark wins, I’m not going to lie.

Having pieces in my wardrobe that are versatile are key. It makes it feel like I have a bigger wardrobe. I don’t have clothing that is only casual or for special occasions. Every piece is my wardrobe is able to be dressed up or down depending on the day. Versatility in my wardrobe has been a GAMECHANGER. Before I had segments. Fancy dresses, casual clothing, work pieces and so on. This really split up my wardrobe and made me feel like I had nothing to wear. I was so frustrated everytime I stepped up to my closet.

I found his Zara leopard print dress at the Salvation Army Thrift Store and really like the loose fit. Right away I knew it could be a versatile piece in my wardrobe. I can easily wear it with an oversized cardigan, flats or booties, thicker tights and it’s a perfect daytime outfit. Add shear tights, a heel and a simple leather jacket, I’m dressed up for date night.
