Frugal Holiday Tablescape

November 26, 2015

image

I’ve been seeing so many beautiful holiday tablescapes that make me want to host a dinner party every night and get a second job to be able to afford all the decor!!!

I wanted to show it was possible to create a beautiful and simple holiday table to impress your guests on a frugal budget.

Here’s a breakdown:

Restoration Hardware plates: $6 (thrifted and a total score since 4 plates are $50 regularly)
Silver charger plates: $6 (thrifted)
Silver wine goblets: $4 (thrifted)
Silver candlestick holders: $2 (thrifted)
Vintage Napkins: $4 (thrifted and then I  shibori dyed them)
Greenery for centrepiece: $5 (my local grocer)
Forks and knives: already had these
Name card: leftover leaves from the centrepiece

TOTAL COST: $27

The best part was this table took about 15 minutes to set up, so not only was it affordable but didn’t take a lot of time!
