How to Thrift Accessories for Mother’s Day

May 6, 2022

Thrift accessories are a great option for Mother’s Day for any of the special women in your life. Mother’s Day can be different for everyone, it can be about a mother, sister, friend, mother in law or teacher. Thrift accessories are a great option because you can find something for everyone on your list. Let’s take a look at a few options you can find at your local Salvation Army thrift store.

How to Thrift Accessories for Mother’s Day

First look at quality – you don’t want something that will turn skin green or break on the first wear.

Make a list – who are you shopping for? If you create a list before shoppiong then it’ll be easy to find what you are looking for in store.

Can you fix it? – If you find the perfect piece but it has a flaw, can you fix it? A lot of times jewelry is a simple fix. All you need is a pair of pliers.

Type of accessories you can thrift

  • Sunglasses – so many options! Simply depend on your style
  • Bracelets – always a fun option for any outfit.
  • Necklace – a great way to dress up a t-shirt or for a night out.
  • Bag – every mom needs a great bag!

Thrifting a Mother’s Day gift for that special person in your life is a great way to show them you care but also not breaking the bank. I think thrifted gifts are wonderful and no one would know it’s thrifted unless you told them! Remember it’s the thought that counts, not the amount you spend.
