Maternity style can be whatever you want! I don’t think there are any rules. I love this leather jacket I found at the thrift store. It currently will not zip up over my belly, but I don’t care! Paired with this Wilfred Free dress it’s a great fall combination.

With my own maternity style I couldn’t bring myself to buy the large t-shirts and dresses that looked like parachutes! I wanted to feel great, which meant showing off my growing bump. Don’t get me wrong, I have definitely invested in a couple pairs of maternity pants and I LOVE THEM! They are so comfortable and show off the bump.

A few weeks ago I shared how I created a capsule wardrobe for fall and the size of my belly during this season. For the most part, all the pieces I purchased have worked out! I have recently grown out of a few, but that is to be expected. Also if you want to see how far maternity style has come, come out that post to see my maternity jeans! You would never know.

To create my capsule wardrobe, I had a leather jacket on the list. I have owned a Kenneth Cole leather jacket for quite a while and really wanted a new cut. Finding this Line leather jacket for only $19.99 was a great thrift score! I found the jacket online for $900! What?!?
