Hello heatwave! Anyone else LOVING this hot summer weather? I feel like I might be the only one. The heat has been so wonderful. I have been living in three pieces a dress, sandals and hat. Summer essentials. I luckily have thrifted a few of these pieces on a budget from my local Salvation Army thrift store.
THRIFTED SUMMER PIECES FROM THE SALVATION ARMY THRIFT STORE ON A BUDGET

A STRAW HAT
I love finding straw hats at the thrift store! After the summer my straw hat is usually well worn, a little beat up from beach days and adventures, so I usually replace it with a new to me hat from the Salvation Army thrift store. Make sure you try the hat on before you buy it! Also think of the style you’d like, there are so many different straw hats to choose from.

STYLISH SANDALS
Although it’s warm, sandals are always a stylish way to keep cool. I was so happy to find these Toms Black Espadrilles at my local Salvation Army thrift store. If you’re looking to expand your summer wardrobe with a few thrifted pieces, don’t forget to check out the shoe section! Quite a few times I’ve found brand new shoes.
GINGHAM DRESS
Dresses for summer are my go to! Easy to put on, no fuss, and so many different styles to choose from. The open back on this gingham dress by Zara was a great detail but when I realized it had pockets I fell in love. One of the reason I shop for secondhand items at the Salvation Army thrift store is for the great finds on a budget.

My closet is officially in summer mode and full of thrifted summer pieces found at the Salvation Army thrift store. I might have more than one straw hat, definitely a dozen dresses and as many sandals. Thrifting for clothing allows me to purchase high quality items on a budget. Would you think this outfit is from a thrift store?
