Shopping for identical twins can be expensive, especially when they like the same thing! It means TWO of everything! Every once in a while when thrifting for twins I come across matching outfits. Lucky! I was so excited when I found these adorable outfits for summer.

Thrifting for Twins
- Look in the off season – For example in winter start looking for summer.
- Size Up – It’s always a great idea to look ahead. I found these way beofre they’d fit!
- Quality – Make sure there are no stains or rips or loose threads. The clothes will last longer that way.
- Buy An Item You Love – I keep photos of pieces I thrift and try to find a matching one or something similar.
Right now our girls are growing like crazy but I’ve been so lucky to find high quality clothing for less at the Salvation Army Thrift Store. I store the larger sizes together in separate drawers, then I can pull out what sizes are working and donate the items that no longer fit. Plus shopping in the off season means I am able to stock pile pieces for the next season in a bigger size.

Can you believe these dresses were only $1.99 each! I love the button details on the back. These were a hit in our house and they were brand new! You’d never know they were thrifted. That’s the secret to a good thrift store find, it looks brand new and stylish, so no one would ever know it’s secondhand.

Shopping for two little girls who love to match at the Salvation Army Thrift Store can be a huge success. Keeping a photo journal of items I’d like to match, shopping a season ahead and making sure I look for larger sizes can lead to a lot of great twin thrift finds!
